I have about 6 years of formal childcare experience at organizations such as the YMCA - volunteering in elementary schools - and working in after school programs. I have over 10 years total experience with childcare - including my informal years of babysitting for friends and family.

I have over 14 nieces and nephews ... and have definitely been involved with providing discounted family childcare while the siblings were at work. It's actually through my nieces and nephews that I first discovered I had a passion to work with children. It helped I was related to them but knew it was a real passion when I started to work "real" jobs and looked forward to working every day.

I'm working on obtaining a dual degree in early education and early childhood special education so I can one day start my own early childhood development center.

As a parent to two boys now myself, I understand the need to know your children are in the hands of someone that is not only responsible but will also have fun with them while you are away getting things done.

I love to engage with the little ones (and the bigger ones) and come up with ways to keep them busy. I am also learning and teaching myself and my children sign language and can extend that to any children I work with. I hope to have the honor of meeting your family and partnering with you in providing the best private childcare you can find.
