I am Shantae Mohan, a student at Barnstable High School. I'm writing to express my enthusiasm for the employment advertised on your website. This position would be ideal for me because I’ve held various leadership roles that trained me how to function under hardships. I’ve been looking after children ever since I was 12. I’ve had the pleasure of been welcomed in a lot of homes, my love for kids and helping them develop and grow began very early. That I started taking subjects in high school that involved learning how to engage with kids.

During my years at Merl Grove High school I acquired skills that enabled me to be far more ambitious and persistent when completing a project. My experience in teaching Sunday school and joining JROTC taught me how to collaborate with people well and meet tight deadlines. And I’ve discovered that the key to my success is my constant motivation and organizational abilities. With my background I’m confident that I’ll be a good fit for your company mainly because I can achieve any task I set my mind to.
