Our mission is to help and improve children's development in a way that fulfills their individual, social, and emotional needs. We focus on: enjoy life as a happy human being and respect nature and our environment, as well as sharing and understanding cultural differences. We believe that each child is unique in terms of character, emotions, talent, and creativity, and they are full of curiosity and intelligence. Our uniquely designed program promotes; creativity, artistic skills, and social interaction, along with learning about the world around them. At Mildred Watch Tower WeeCare, we believe as adults, it's our responsibility to mentor and guides the children to achieve their full potential. We provide opportunities so that they can create, explore their surroundings, learn productive problem-solving, and practice personal interaction skills.See all program details
I decided to start my daycare because one of my son's friends had four children and didn't have any daycare options. For 19 years, I worked for the county doing subsidized childcare. I enjoyed working with the kiddos so much I decided to open up my daycare. My house has always been full of children and a warm, nurturing environment.
Our cozy home has ample space for the children to play. Inside our home, the children have access to many educational toys and a work table they can use to write or draw. We maintain a clean and organized environment to encourage the children to foster good behaviors and creativity while feeling a high sense of comfortability.
We are two blocks from a park; there are three elementary schools within a 20 block radius: Rosa Parks, John Steele, and Ceaser Chaves and Edward Kimble.
