I started a home daycare to provide a better nurturing and more attentive environment where children are allowed more room freedom of expression. I love working with children because it is rewarding to watch them grow and prosper over time and I’m very grateful to be able to contribute to their learning and development.

Great Daycare for my two year old. She is learning a whole lot and I look forward to talking to her in the afternoons to find out what she learned that day. It's a very safe and clean environment for the children!

I cannot recommend Silvia and her home childcare center enough!!! And coming from me, that means a lot because I evaluate education programs for a living so I approach everything with a very critical eye. Basically, I feel like I'm dropping my son off with his favorite auntie eve...Read morery day!!!
Here are some of the wonderful things the children at My Little Bunnies enjoy:
-a squeaky clean space (and I mean squeaky clean!!!) and that goes for diapers and clothes, too
-a large indoor and outdoor environment (always a different activity when I'm picking up my son!)
-extremely attentive caretakers (I get a full update when I arrive, as well as text messages with pictures of what my son is doing daily!)
-a SUPER supportive breastfeeding daycare
-homemade food (okay, I'm a little jealous, I think my son eats more of Silvia's cooking than he eats of mine!)
-waterplay
-arts and crafts (including holiday projects)
-yoga (yes, yoga - amazing!)
-breakfasts with mom and dad for certain holidays
-a gift from the family during holiday season to leave your children on a Saturday so you can shop (over and above, truly!)
-NO TV (awesome, awesome, because little kids do not need television!)
Additionally, the front door is always always locked. Love that. Silvia's husband makes almost everything from play kitchens to seated stations for the kids to garden beds where children will learn about gardening. My son has a blast when he's there and even runs away from me when I come to pick him up. I've experienced several daycares and preschools and it really doesn't get better than My Little Bunnies!!! So much so that we had my son on a wait list for a preschool and decided after 9 months at Bunnies that he will stay there until it's time for public school (now, that's a compliment).
Go check it out!
And by the way, I just want to add in response to the one negative ad here that all kids get bumps and bruises. It's part of being a kid. And anytime my son has run himself into a toy, I have always been told what happened (and we are talking about little nothings, typical kid stuff). When my son woke up from a nap once with trouble breathing I was notified immediately and since this is typical of my son we put together a plan for when this happens. Silvia treats those children like family and is on top of their safety and well-being.

As a first time mom and preschool teacher, it was extremely hard for me to leave my daughter in the care of someone else. I hit the jackpot with My Little Bunnies Daycare! Silvia goes above and beyond my expectations every day, here are a few reasons why:
- Very open parent-prov...Read moreider communication. Silvia makes sure to keep you updated on everything; I always feel in the loop about my daughter's time here.
- Clean environment. No matter what time you come in, you will always find it clean.
- Tasty, homemade lunches everyday. My daughter loves Silvia's cooking! She has become much more open to trying new foods since coming here.
- Creative arts & crafts.
- Yoga once a week. My daughter cannot stop raving about yoga for the rest of the day, their yoga instructor is great!
- Pictures and updates via text messages. It's always great to receive updates while you are at work. Little details such as this one are what make Silvia's daycare so great.
- Plenty of outside play area. The daycare is beautiful. Both the inside and outside have been recently renovated.
I go to work every day with peace of mind thanks to Silvia and her wonderful staff. My Little Bunnies daycare is like a second home to us. I cannot recommend it enough!
