The curriculum I follow to create our teaching plans and strategies is "The Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care". Nuestro Mundo takes all these beliefs and puts them together with the goals of getting children ready to succeed in school, be aware of the world around them, be culturally sensitive, have high self-esteem, social/emotional behavior development, be physically active, enjoy nutritious diverse meals, and acquire an interest and love for science and math. The curriculum is given in Spanish and English everyday, allowing the children to become bilingual.
