My mission for Pat-a-Cake Preschool is to combine the comfort of a loving home with a classroom education to ensure that children thrive across all areas of development. Our curriculum will build upon the child as a whole focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, motor, adaptive, and language development. Pat-a-Cake Preschool recognizes the importance of working with each child at their developmental level to enhance their individual needs. Hello! I am Starlynn Perez, Ms. Star to my families. I have my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Studies from CBU, I am a registered behavior technician, have both taught and directed at child care centers, and have provided therapy services (ABA and early intervention) to families in Riverside County for over 13 years now. I am a wife and a mama of two little ones. Enriching the lives of young children is not a job for me, it’s my passion.

The kids are challenged, learning, and engaged all day long, all while having fun. Ms. Star and Mimi are as patient as they come, and so very kind. My son is well cared for, fed a nutritious lunch and snacks, and has fun. I enjoy the photo updates throughout the day. This may sound silly but I love that when my son comes home, sometimes he has chalk, or a smidge of dirt on his clothes because that means he’s been having a blast! I don’t know how Star and Mimi get my son to eat or nap so well. They are magical. I just can’t say enough great things about Pat-a-cake!
