Born into a family of ten, l grew up mentoring, modeling, and caring for those younger than me. In high school I chose a childcare pathway with extra courses in child care. This led me to working with with young mothers which simply reaffirmed my passion for nurturing small ones.
After a two year college training program in Institutional Management, I accepted a position at Kapsabet Boy's High School overseeing the nutritional needs of the student body as the Head of Food and Beverage. Serving and being a part of this school community alongside my husband who held the position of Head of Physics and Mathematics was an experience of a lifetime. We later spent eight years at St. Andrews International Boarding School caring for children from Pre-Kinder through High School.
This was definitely a unique experience which brought me to realize my passion for supporting the health and wellness of children by creating a home away from home for them all the while modeling characteristics of a mentor, teacher, and counselor listening, advising, challenging, supporting, and making their time at school special. Inspiring and exciting curiosity in my students brings me great happiness and fulfillment, and so, I dedicate myself to leading our small treasures through their early years and into the wonderful world of learning!
