Summer Playhouse Home Preschool and Childcare Daycare

Summer's Playhouse has been a home-away-from-home for my kiddos. The staff are caring and really know how to engage the students in meaningful lessons. They have made life-long friends!!! My kids love swim days!!! AND My youngest is definitely ready for kindergarten in the fall.

They do structured preschool on Tuesday and Thursday but incorporate learning into all their play. It’s perfect! My 4-year-old just wrote her own name onto all her valentines to give to her friends. She knows the sounds of most of her letters and can recognize them written. She also has picked up so many skills that will be imperative for her to have mastered for school, such as being able to sit and listen, taking turns, standing and walking in line, etc. She can work scissors and brings home her “schoolwork” readily. I was so worried before my son started kinder, but I’m not concerned about her. She’s ready! Thanks to Summer’s Playhouse. My son now walks there after school and does his homework. He loves going there as well, which may seem surprising. But it’s such a great environment that it feels like family. I would recommend anyone to place their children here for care and preschool.
