My philosophy is letting Families know I'm happy they are in my care. I love giving a positive comment each day to all children.My journey is observing, listening and documenting. I teach all six domains in learning development, adapting, assisting and keeping children safe. I teach kindness and diversity. We are all friends no matter what color their hands are. Joy is a good bye hug from a child, and thanks from a parent. We use the Redleaf Family Chld Care Curriculum plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. June 1 1990 I gave new life to a tiny white house in Moorhead Minnesota, building my dream, providing a cozy learning environment for toddlers and preschool children. Each room has a name, purpose and is meaningful each day. My backyard is called the park. My unique house is about children and families. Each is different, may have a separate need and are taught in my program all children smile in the same language.

Teddy Bear House provides childcare for families living in the Moorhead area. Children engage in play-based, educational activities to help them achieve important milestones. The facility is a home daycare which fosters the development of social skills in a safe, caring environment. The director supports learning and administrative support in multiple languages including Spanish, Somali, and Arabic.
