Welcome to Valley Village Friendly Family! Our childcare is a place where children, teachers, and parents, come together as a family to create a nurturing, caring, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children can play, learn, laugh, discover, and grow. Our program fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of all children while still meeting the individual needs of each child. All activities recognize that children learn by doing. Developmental materials are always accessible, safe, and geared for a child's success. Activities are changed regularly in response to children's need for variety and challenge as they grow and learn. The safe, loving, gentle atmosphere puts children and parents at ease and makes for a trusting, spontaneous transition to elementary school.
Our approach combines the best practices in the field of early childhood education. The program is inspired by Montessori pedagogy, Reggio Emilia approach.
We devote a lot of attention to fostering a balanced, positive childhood.

The teachers and caregivers are kind, loving, insightful, and supportive and consider each child individually as they encourage them through various tasks and projects. They are also patient enough to successfully potty-train your child starting at early 2 y.o. The education is in two languages Russian (main) and English. When the children start regular school, they are academically stronger prepared than any of their peers in the same grade. Art projects, music, and movement, singing are part of the daily program. Dance class is one of the children's favorite classes. Children leave every day with excitement to learn more. Costumed shows/plays performed in front of parents and friends twice a year are fun, and a great way for children to become self-confident and independent.

Valley Village Friendly Family Daycare fosters curiosity, creativity, and love to learning, in a secure and safe space for your little one. We also have a big backyard, a separate nap room, an art area, and a reading area to promote a comfortable atmosphere where children can learn, play, discover and grow. We are cozy home away from home where learning booms.
Our daycare is in a quiet and safe family-oriented neighborhood of Valley Village/North Hollywood/Studio City.
