I started my childcare experience in 2017, watching a newborn infant from 1 week to age 2. After that I started working at the YWCA in the infant room, changed to the toddler room for around 9 months, and then was head teacher for the school age room. (Ages 5-12). In March 2020 when our center closed during Covid, I was hired to be a live in nanny for a set of twins I had watched at the Y. I stayed with their family from ages 1 year to 3 years and still watch them occasionally. I also had their older sibling, aged 4-6, and their two cousins age 4 and 7. So during the summer I had a total of 5 children I was in charge of. I love children of all ages and feel comfortable being in charge of any age. I also feel capable with making activities that are inclusive of all age groups.
