Profile I have experience working as a teachers assistant in the UPK program as well as in an early learning center for children with learning disabilities. I am also well trained as an ABA therapist in an ABA school working with children on the spectrum between 6-20 years old. I have infant care and toddler experience as well. I have worked as a 1:1 para in a private school with a middle school aged child who was diagnosed as mildly autistic and ADHD. As an ABA certified therapist, I have been trained on crisis prevention techniques including incorporating a token board system which is used to help decrease negative behaviors and increase positive. Having worked with children both typical and with the learning disabled all across the spectrum, my experience extends far as an appropriate candidate for a caregiver position. I am also a mom of 2 teen girls, enjoy working with children and had my first job as a childcare provider in a daycare center when I was 15 years old.
