THINGS TO DO

Irvine Weekend Activities for Toddlers?

Hey Irvine ladies! What do you do with your families on the weekends? I feel like we always end up staying in and it makes me feel like we never do anything new! Does anyone have any ideas? My girls are 2 and almost 5 years! Thanks so much mamas :)

We’ve taken our boys to Tanaka farms a few times! They seem to enjoy themselves. They change things up a lot, so there are always new things to do and see! Have you been there yet? 0 Likes

Heritage Park is beautiful - especially in the fall with all of the leaves. They have a playground area, too, if you’re trying to get your kiddos to tire themselves out lol! 0 Likes

There's also the Irvine Regional Park where the whole family can enjoy an outdoor day with plenty of activities to do. We have only gone twice and have many more family trips planned to go back! There are bicycle/walking trails, multiple playgrounds, a lake, group picnic areas, a train ride, pony rides, and there's even a pumpkin patch there right now until the end of the month. We've been looking at their website for updates so we can plan our future visit accordingly. 0 Likes

So this might be more of a special occasion weekend trip, but about 30 mins drive away in Buena Park is Knott's Berry Farm. Kids will have plenty of fun riding the rides, lots to see and do entertainment wise like watching shows with Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang. You can check out their events page online to see what they have coming up for the festive season and plan accordingly. We love going but of course save it only for birthdays or special events since it is costly. 0 Likes

Irvine Spectrum Center is the most fun! There’s a movie theater, a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and good food. You can really spend the entire day there enjoying the family fun. 0 Likes
