THINGS TO DO

What are the best libraries in Hollywood for little kids?

Hollywood mommy looking for some libraries to take my little ones to! All the better if they have some activities for kids - I don’t want to be the only one with little ones who don’t know how to use their library voices yet! Thanks in advance, ladies :)

The Frances Howard Goldwyn Hollywood Library has a wonderful storytime series for your kiddos! Most of the kids are pretty small - daycare age. Fun for a little bit on a weekend when you need something to do. Easy to leave if screaming and crying ensues. Just checked the website and it says that babies and toddlers are welcome, too! 0 Likes

We live right near the LA Public Library in Fairfax. It’s not the biggest library, but there is a whole Storytelling corner. The first time we went, we got my son a library card and taught him how to check out a book. We took it home, read it, and then returned the next week to let him place it in the return box outside. He thought it was so cool. I think he wanted to check out more books just to be able to put them in the return box! 0 Likes

The West Hollywood Library on San Vicente Blvd is a must! There's a lovely children's area with reading space, a children's theater, and they have story times scheduled throughout the week. 0 Likes
