What is the best baby monitor to buy?

I will be having my 1st baby soon and I am nervous about every decision I make. I want to make sure I get plenty of feedback from other parents about everything! What's the best baby monitor out there? I want one where I can place far away and still get great reception.

The Motorola MBP36XL is the best. You can connect up to 4 cameras and have them in multiple rooms all over the house. You can also talk through the monitors as well and reception is really strong! 0 Likes

I like the Infant Optics DXR8. It has interchangeable lenses so you can add a zoom in lens if you are placing it far away from your crib. What I like the most is that it tells you the room temperature too. 0 Likes

We've been using the iBaby Care M7 because it's the most WiFi friendly baby monitor we could find. The sound and video quality are excellent, has two-way communication, lullabies & bedtime stories, infrared night vision, and soothing nightlight. It can even alert you if a diaper needs changing! The only thing is that you do really need a reliable Wifi connection at home for this to be the best monitor for you. 0 Likes

Owlet Smart Sock + Cam is awesome! It is a little on the pricey side, but it is everything! It can track your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels while they are asleep. The Owlet Smart Sock + Cam also comes with a wearable monitor and video/audio monitor. You can purchase yours at Walmart, Target, Amazon or directly from owletcare.com. 0 Likes
