Crying unless held

Advice or tips my 10 month old who has been attending daycare since she was 3 months has started to cry unless she’s being held she only does this with the daycare teachers or a babysitter I’m not sure how to help her or them. She happily goes to them at drop off and is happy when in there arms but that’s not realistic.

Introducing a dog to an infant

Hi Tanera I can’t find your post, but my daughter is almost 6 months old now. When I first brought her home we let the dogs sniff her a bit and used a pack n play so they could watch her. Once she was about a month they got to touch her head with their noses. Around 4 months our daughter was rolling in a play set so we would allow them to sit next to her while she was playing (obviously we were on the ground with her) we had to teach our Shepard to be gentle and not get in her face too much. Now at 6 months she’s grabbing at stuff so we’ll sit with her and let her pet the dogs. They mostly just watch her while she’s playing, but it’s been a pretty smooth transition :)

I hope this helps!

Happy Holidays!

Toddler crying at daycare for no reason!

Hi I have a 20 month old daughter,
she is usually very good when she is home with me she doesn’t cry or misbehave often! She would only cry if she was hungry sleepy or frustrated!!
However When she goes to daycare she cries for no reason!! Recently her teacher told me that she has been crying / screaming all day and sometimes for no reason!! Her teacher said that it has been happening for several months now. I feel bad when I pick her up and she is crying and all the other kids are either playing or quietly watching tv… and also to top it off her provider let me know that she is not eating at the daycare.. so I would like some advice I’m a first time mom.. I’m not understanding why she is crying all day at daycare!! I cannot stay with her because I have to work because I’m living by myself and her dad and my all my family are in another state!! Please any suggestions on what i can do to stop her from crying at daycare? Any tips for getting her to eat more?? Has anyone else had this problem??

How can I stop biting and hitting with my 2 year old twins?

This past couple weeks have been such a turn around for me. I have never had this problem with my twins but out of no where if one doesn’t share a toy they start hitting or biting. When I even say no or they can’t have their way I get smacked. Is there any advise on how to change this habits?

My 20 month old talks very little

Hi, I have a 20 month old daughter who understands everything I speak. She says about 10 words like dada, mummy, yes , no, baby, shoe , up, down, out, in , wow . When I ask her to repeat after me, sometimes she says something so random and different than what I am saying. But she attempts to say it. I'm a first time mom and we are bilingual home. Is this common? She takes in everything, but when I ask her to repeat, she attempts, but it sounds nothing like what I am asking her to say. For example, when I ask her to say "all done" - she always says "ooo ba " - so now I just know when she says oooo ba it's all done. Just trying to understand if this is their way of Learning to explore with speech ?

My daughter doesn’t want to talk!

My daughter will be 20 months this month and she understands and knows what we are saying to her but the words don’t want to come out. We talk to her and tell her to say words but nope nothing. She only says mom, banana and pata (foot in Spanish) today she did say ready but was saying Duddie. She gets frustrated when she can’t talk.
