Any ideas to help toddlers with their social skills? My son is an only child and we don’t send him to daycare or preschool yet. I love that I get to be home with him, but I worry about him being too shy and scared to make friends when he does start school.

Any tips on how to make mornings with little ones less stressful? I just returned to work last month after being a stay-at-home mom for three years, so our 3-year-old started daycare. The shift has been tough on all of us. He’s having tantrums, a hard time with wake-ups, issues with eating his breakfast, you name it.

When I heard other parents complaining about the terrible twos, I thought our toddler was just a sweet exception to the rule. Now that she’s nearing two and a half, I finally get it. We are in a LOUD, public tantrum phase. ISO the best soothing methods, stat.

Has anyone had any amazing children’s birthday parties in the Long Beach area? We didn’t throw a party for my son’s first birthday, and for his second birthday we had a little party at our home, but it was too stressful having it at home. This year I want to have it somewhere. Hi! We live in an apartment in the Inglewood area and my daughter has started wanting to learn how to ride a bike! Are there any good parks with bike paths in the area that we could visit to teach her how? It can get pretty busy on the streets here, so I’d rather her learn on a bike path/area than on the neighborhood streets. Thx Inglewood mamas.
