When is it normal for a baby to start consistently sleeping through the night? I've heard at 6 months or even younger, but my 8-month-old son hardly ever does. What's wrong?

We have a 5-year-old at home and are expecting a baby girl next month. Our son is excited to be a big brother, but I’m worried about keeping those kindergarten colds and germs from our newborn. I didn’t go out and about to many public places with our son when he was a young infant for the same reason. Tips on how to handle without upsetting big brother or worse, getting baby sick?

Has anyone had any amazing children’s birthday parties in the Long Beach area? We didn’t throw a party for my son’s first birthday, and for his second birthday we had a little party at our home, but it was too stressful having it at home. This year I want to have it somewhere. So I’ve gotten to the point in my pregnancy where I can no longer wear any of my normal clothes anymore. I’ve done some shopping for maternity clothes, but I feel like all of the ones I’ve seen have been either ugly, too expensive for clothes I’m only going to be able to wear for just a few months, or they’ve been ugly AND too expensive! Please help - where should I look for maternity clothes? I’m in Gardena. Thank you thank you thank you.
