In my home, I help children learn and develop by using age appropriate activities based on the changing needs and ages of the children. I use the Creative Curriculum and Mother Goose Time Curriculum to help plan and support Kindergarten Readiness. Our day includes but is not limited to : group time, free play, reading, music, arts and crafts, baking and occasional field trips to local parks. My program is unique in the fact that my children all are given the opportunity to learn and explore the great outdoors daily. Spending time outside builds up a child's immune system, gives them exercise and encourages problem solving skills among many other things.
