Nelson Amber C Daycare

Nature Tots Preschool offers an outdoor preschool program for children 24 months - kindergarten. We have daily creative art projects and guided learning activities but are committed to nature immersion, flow learning, and authentic play above all else. We believe in intentionally slowing down to promote mindfulness, kindness, social connection, as well as self-empowerment. Our aim is to stimulate children's innate curiosity, while fostering compassion and empathy for the earth and all living beings. We act as guides, modeling engagement in nature by using inquiry-based teaching strategies, making observations, and documenting learning.Our nature preschool program runs year round 7:30am to 4:30pm; Monday through Friday.

Nelson Amber C provides childcare for families living in the Rochester area. Children engage in play-based, educational activities to help them achieve important milestones. The facility is a home daycare which fosters the development of social skills in a safe, caring environment. A dual-language immersion program provides education and administrative support in both English and Spanish. The director offers age-appropriate programming for kids aged 3 months to 6 years.
