I have been a licensed child care provider through Scott County since Dec. 2002. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment for your child to grow and learn while you must be away from him/her. As a mother and grandmother myself, I understand the stress and anxiety that go along with leaving your child with just anyone. By working together, we can make this a pleasant experience for your child.I have joined other dedicated child care providers in becoming a part of the Parent Aware program. Parent Aware is a wonderful way to ensure children are confident and ready to take on the world, or at least ready to take on Kindergarten! By overseeing and guiding children from birth to school age, I can help cultivate their young bodies and minds. And who wouldn't want that for their children? I use Funshine Preschool Curriculum. This program has a delightful blend of activities that cover all 6 developmental areas in children. In addition to the curriculum, I supplement extra activates to cater to the individual needs of the children in my care to enhance their learning experience and development. I strive to encourage children to be themselves, no matter how serious or silly they can be! Everyone is different and that is remarkable! We respect all cultural views. Having families from various backgrounds is a great way for children to share and learn about the people and the world around them.At Fredrickson Family Daycare we give children a sense of self, independence, and pride in what they do. We also teach a sense of community, focusing on being a part of the bigger picture. Children learn helping others is a part of life and we all work together for the good of the group. Caring for children is one of the most important jobs on the planet, and I have the honor to be a part of that.

They support both English and American Sign Language through their dual-language immersion program. This provider offers childcare programs for children ages 9 months to 4 years 9 months.
