I believe that children's early lives are of utmost importance. It is during this time when the foundation of all development is happening. My goal at daycare is to create a warm, friendly place for children, yet giving them the guidance and structure that they need. My goal for each day is to provide a place where the children know they are loved and accepted for who they are, creating a sense of self-worth and purpose. We use the Creative Curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program.Daily routines, activities, outside play, circle time with story and naptime are all parts of our day. I have a schedule but I am flexible with it, according to the children's needs, learning abilities and age. I include many learning opportunities in literacy, math, science, social studies, arts, social-emotional and physical development. Daily communication exchanges with parents/families are important to me. This enables us to be partners as we take care of children.
