Caring for children is my choice of profession: I have been a licensed Provider since 1988. I enjoy children, playing and helping them develop socially, mentally and physically. We have projects that come home daily, but also have sensory and observation projects. I also am observing and watching development. Children learn much from play: working with others, independence, creativity, imagination, problem solving, physically, manners, good social skills, and self-esteem. I create a home away from home for children so they can be as comfortable as possible. We use the Carols affordable curriculum,1-2-3 Curriculum plus some of my own files to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My childcare is right outside of town so we have convenience of location plus we have much outdoor space to do many large motor skills and explore nature and science. Have room to bicycle, play ball, man- made hills for sledding and sliding, much opportunity for physical exercise and play.
