At Karen's Colorful Childcare I strive to help children grow and learn in a safe, loving, and fun environment. I encourage kindness, personal, responsibility, respect, and self confidence in each child. As a provider I desire to help each child meet their fullest potential.I use the 123 learning curriculum that I follow through out the year, Along with Once Upon A Star, and Angela's Little Yogis that comes monthly and allows the children to use their creativity and imagination.My Program is unique because I have always had the love for teaching children. I am always looking for new and different opportunities to better my program. Communication is huge for me in my childcare. I communicate on a daily basis on how a child's day was. Along with providing the parents a monthly newsletter. I volunteer as the membership coordinator for Scott County Licensed Family Childcare Association.
