Karen's Kind and Caring Childcare Daycare

In my childcare I work with children to build their motor, social and academic skills. This is done through activities that we do during the time that a child is in my care. Preschool worksheets and activities will assist the children in learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors. They will learn how to hold a writing utensil properly while completing handwriting worksheets. Activities that we do in my childcare will help children improve their large and fine motor skills. Activities include playing at the local parks, going on walks, going to the library, and swimming at the local pool. Fine motor activities include building blocks, peg boards, pop-on beads, magnetic dress-up dolls (for both boys and girls), and many others. Children will build their social skills by interacting with other children in my care and during the many outings we go on.
