Kari's Corner Child Care Daycare

Partnering with parents and caregivers, my goal is to offer children a safe, secure, loving and happy atmosphere while also offering the opportunity to learn. Play is an important part of a child's development and children will be offered structured and non-structured play based learning opportunities throughout the day. Because we have mixed ages here, the children also learn about important life skills such as patience, trust, honesty and self-confidence.The child care environment is set up by following the Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care guidelines, which is designed to be effective with all ages birth - 12 years of age. I also offer 1-2-3 Learn activities as an alternative curriculum for a more detailed approach to learning.My program is unique because I offer a large variety of extra's as part of my program. Meals are largely homemade and new foods are offered frequently. We go on several field trips throughout the year that offer many learning opportunities. I offer parents flexible scheduling and allow time sharing of their child's spot in care whenever possible.
