At Little Jems Childcare I believe that play helps children learn and develop by providing both a nurturing home environment along with a dedicated areas in the childcare for the children to actively learn and play in a variety of different stations such as music, arts, manipulatives, dramatic play, and blocks, Also helping children learn and develop by offering a setting that nurtures each child's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development. Children will participate in academic activities, unstructured choice play, social skills, arts, cooking, music, literature, daily living skills, and outdoor play. My program is unique because of the importance individual development and social-emotional skills are given. As each child moves through the key early childhood years, I guide them with the belief that everyone is capable of great things. Relationships formed within these early years will serve as a foundation for the rest of their lives. Likewise, appropriate risk-taking and adventure through play prepares children for further learning and lifelong exploration. Along with weekly activities are planned to incorporate all age groups to learn and play many different skills that are needed for children to be successful when going into kindergarten. I offer fun special people come into our childcare, like Once Upon a Star, Zumba classes and many more. A lifelong love of learning and exploration I believe in close communication with clients, offering monthly newsletters and conversation. Children are well cared-for & surrounded by friends!
