I believe child care providers and families work as a team to raise a happy, healthy child. Children are special and have great possibilities. They thrive in an environment where they are loved, protected, stimulated, given responsibilities, and guidelines/rules to follow. I use a play based curriculum, help children develop socially and emotionally, and prepare for school. Children are being stimulated and learning as a group as well as having individual time to explore, relax, and play. I believe in the Golden Rule and teaching manners and politeness through example. I am a member of the Jefferson County Child Care Association, the Colorado Association of Family Child Care, and the National Association of Family Child Care.
