Hi all! We’re Roots Family Childcare and we're a home childcare provider extending our family oriented services to our local community in the Northern San Bernardino area. Our mission is to empower young children to grow into confident, self-loving, respectful, and responsible community leaders! We are open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and offer care M - F. At our childcare, we provide a culturally sensitive learning environment by offering a diverse roster of children, weekly Spanish lessons, history lessons in all ethnic and cultural backgrounds through out the year, and consistent support and encouragement for our little leaders! Contact us with any inquiries and to schedule a tour! All tours are done at 6pm or after and on the weekends.

I am Ms. Krystal, and before I give my educational and personal background I’d like to say that I truly believe genuine love for children is innate.

I am a mother of 4 (22,14, 10, 8). I am the eldest of 14 grandchildren And I have one amazing sibling. My educational background is a BA in Human Services with an emphasis in mental health and psychotherapy. I worked for a community college for 6 years in student services that focused to encourage, support, and guide all students emotionally, academically, and socially.

I am committed to providing children with the love, attention, and resources needed to thrive and succeed in today’s society.

I am certified in First Aid and CPR, I balance cleanliness, safety, education, healthy meals and fun to ensure the children of Roots family childcare partake in a happy childhood they will take pride in as an adult and community member.

Location

Roots Family Childcare is a home daycare created to encourage curiosity and learning in a clean and comfy space. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include a nap area, toddler tables for eating and snacks, and numerous learning activities and supplies.

Our San Bernardino childcare is located in the Northpark neighborhood with an elementary within walking distance. There is also plenty of street parking and accessible freeways within a 5 mins drive.
