Greetings Parents/ Guardians,

Safety 1st Daycare is an in-home childcare serving ages 6months-6 years old. We are curriculum driven and we provide update and feedback for your child. Our goal is to ensure your child reach their developmental milestones in a warm, compassionate, and most importantly a safe environment. We develop the groundwork for a strong foundation in learning by engaging in Project-based and Developmental Play-based activities. We know that schedules vary, and we have options for part-time, full-time, and single-day services. We are open from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. We offer extended day which (7:30am) for drop-offs and (6:30pm) for pick-ups. We also offer “date night” hours (7:30pm-11:30pm) and “over night” hours (8:30pm-8:30am). My name is Ms. Deborah and I am a Licensed childcare provider with over 15 years of experience working with kids of all ages. I am a devoted provider here to assist you and your family as I care for your most prized possession. Finding the perfect daycare for your child is nerve wrecking, I will assure you it will be an easy transition with the help of myself and my team here at Safety 1st Daycare.

My assistant Ms. Yosselyn Alvarez I’ve gotten the pleasure of knowing for 5 years. Her years working of working in childcare is over 10 years. She has a passion for building our babies motor skills and connecting emotionally with our children.

My Mother, who we call Mama John, is a retired nurse assistant. She makes sure all our materials are clean and sanitized. She is the “Mama bear” in our community. And she makes sure our kids eat well with a little “Grandma” love

Location

Safety 1st Daycare is a Group Family Daycare. For your convenience for drop off and pick up, we have a parking garage downstairs connected to our building. We have two patios in the building for our kids to play privately amongst themselves. We also have a park just 3 blocks away! 😊 There is a library across the street from our daycare where we visit every Tuesdays for their weekly “little movers”activities for kids 6months-6yrs old.

Our daycare is a pet friendly daycare. We have a cat and a small French puppy that loves our children and our children love them. 😍 Both of our pets are vaccinated. It is important for our kids to have a living thing that they can help care for and teaches them small responsibilities.

We are Located in Bronx, NY. Our daycare is in a quiet, safe and family-oriented neighborhood with a community church right across the street. The nearest train is the number “6” line which is a two block walk from the “Parkchester” stop.
