Program Welcome to Village Daycare! We offer children a nurturing and loving environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones. Teachers
I am an experienced caregiver with over 12 years of experience, and I am committed to providing the highest quality of childcare.
With my professional experience and certifications in First Aid and CPR, I'm highly accomplished in teaching both educational and intentional play activities designed to develop children's' psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social skills.
I’m almost 25, and have been caring for children since I was a child, due to an unfortunate upbringing. I have a multitude of nieces/nephews and 6 God children, from 3 different families. I love to be outdoors, read, journal, and do diamond paintings. I live with my fiancé, Damian, and we have been together for almost 3 years. We have two cats, Penelope and Paisley. They will be 2 in September! I genuinely believe they are the sweetest cats to ever exist. In their year and a half of living with us, they have experienced being around children of all ages, and have NEVER EVER scratched, bit, or hissed at any of the kids - regardless of the torment they put the poor things through. I’m the oldest of 3, and my brother and I are Irish twins - just 17 months apart!

At Village Daycare, our home daycare is designed for fun, discovery, and learning! Within the space, we have a backyard to create a comfortable environment for all of our activities.
We are located in a quiet Mattoon neighborhood just around the corner from a park, an elementary school, and a middle school. Our family-oriented neighborhood has convenient street parking and accessible freeways.
