We offer children a nurturing and loving environment that’s just like home but also a school !
At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones while learning necessary skills ; school readiness hand eye coordination , small motor for skills for writing ,letter recognition, beginning sounds, writing, shapes, color, math, sorting , sequencing , basic concepts & opposites, to name the basics , we also incorporate science, art, Soc studies, Spanish , sign , reasoning & promote self confidence /independence & a multitude of monthly themes to learn about all year round .
We offer an environment that advances curiosity and inquisitiveness through DCYF studies that promote & Inspire our structure for the whole child’s physical & mental GROWTH /DEVELOPMENTAL well being , with themed monthly preschool learnings & safe Play-based activities.
Preschool is between 8:30-12:30 and we offer afterschool & afternoon activities and school age homework /reading help as well as school age crafts & activities & quiet spaces provided for independent focus.

All of our staff are enrolled in ECE child education college courses to constantly continue to grow with ever changing knowledge to enhance your child’s skill set as well as ours with new techniques and individual thought & care .

I am an experienced caregiver with over 20 years of experience, and I am committed to providing the highest quality of childcare.
With over 20 years of professional experience in Early Child hood development, Early Learning , Foster Care, Autism behavior training & medical emergency care, Fire Safety, and continued current certifications in First Aid, CPR, BBP, safe food handling & nutrition , as well as required ongoing training & credits towards teaching degree ; I'm confident to tailor to your child’s personality & developmental needs & learning styles.
I have grown close & helped raise numerous children in the community that are now adults that now bring in their own children or share several great memories about their own experiences from Wee Care .
My staff has individual accomplishments as well as their own experience that is incorporated into daily routines and bonds with kiddos . One of our newest staff is becoming a kindergarten teacher while working in our preschool !
We all promote individuality & strengths into our guidance /teaching.
Both educational and intentional play activities will help children learn & socialize, while growing & practicing school readiness skills, and child hood independence & discoveries are a big part of our day.

At Wee Care Child Care & Preschool, our home daycare is designed for fun, discovery, and learning! Our daycare has a driveway for parking and a gated entrance. Within the space, we have a backyard, a nap room, an art area, and a reading/listening area , class tables & chairs for crafts and sensory, small manipulative s and other learning activities!
There is space for lounging or stories , quiet places for independent focus , space for messy sensory play & bubbles & science activities .We try to create a comfortable environment for all of our children’s activities.
We have two restrooms & one is a specific size for toilet training & hand washing assistance .
Our welcome area is spacious for extra clothes, back packs , rain boots and jackets and personalized cubbies for school work & belongings so they feel expected and welcomed upon their first day .
Each day we have a lesson plan & usually a craft or associated assignment /activity after circle time ( group learning ).
Even toddlers have modified activities to complete & take home to show off to parents!
We are located in a quiet University Place neighborhood just around the corner from a park, an elementary school, and a middle school.
There is plenty of convenient covered /and uncovered parking.
Fenced uncovered & covered play areas & with our smaller setting we have the flexibility to travel to the neighborhood park on sunny days , or attend story time songs and crafts at our local library on rainy days to mix things up & gain new experiences while at family home child care /pre-K.
