My name is Tami Kazeck. I am married and have three grown children. I am a family child care provider and have been licensed since 1992. I received my BS Degree from Bemidji State University in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I am a consistent caregiver with a warm and nurturing home and have a separate learning environment for my business. My role in your child's life is to assist them to reach his/her full potential. As a childcare provider I offer a well rounded environment with lots of love, encouragement and various other activities throughout the school year. During the academic school year I provide a pre-school curriculum (Funshine Express) to get all the children in my care ready for school. I also do the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment Tool twice a year so I have documentation of progression and we will also conference at that time. I focus on various areas: social, emotional, approaches to learning, literacy, creativity, arts, cognitive development, physical and motor development. I am a member of our local child care association (Family Child Care Inc.) so I attend monthly meetings and many other professional workshops to stay current on the learning practices. Our goal together is to have your child kindergarten ready when they leave my program. As a family we practice Christian Faith so at child care we do celebrate all the major Christian holidays.
