At Early Discoveries, Jamie and Stacy Boysen offer a 4-star Parent Aware rated early education program that meets children's developmental needs, prepares them for lifelong success, and encourages them to develop a valuable relationship with the natural world. Our mission is to guide children's development and learning as they develop into lifelong learners within a community of friends. We believe that the world is full of wonder at any age, and we follow children's interests and individual developmental needs as they learn and grow together.Our learning experiences involve both child-led exploration and educator guidance and activities as we encourage them to move through the learning cycle in which they develop an awareness of the world around them, take time to explore wonders, ask questions, and apply their learning to new ideas. Using this style of emergent education, children are active participants in their learning and take greater ownership of and responsibility for their environment. Our goal is that each child graduates from our early education and care program with valuable life skills for success in school and beyond!We follow an emergent curriculum heavily influenced by nature. Not only are our educational practices guided by children's experiences, interests, and needs, but they are also inspired by our Minnesota seasons.
