Three Ladies Daycare

Hi, I am Barb! My mom and I are co-license holders, my aunt is a helper. I have 2 boys and an exchange student. We run our daycare out of our home. My grandfather built our home. My mom and aunt grew up on this lot, I grew up in this house and am raising my kids here. I moved away and went to school for Electronic Technician. I was a Tech for almost 15 years. After I had my son in 2000, I brought him to daycare. I became very close with the "Daycare Lady" and decided for a career change. We have been licensed for almost 13 years. We love to keep the children busy and happy. We use KidCrafters for our curriculum for our preschool. It is a monthly book to teach, projects to do, books to correlate with each daily/weekly theme. We do a monthly calendar with daily activities and various fun things. We even have pajama day, we go on field trips and visit the elderly residents by our home. We have multiple varieties of learning and dramatic play toys. During naptime we listen to Christian music on the radio and the kids take turns saying prayer at lunch. Our motto is Life is short, enjoy what you have, because you never know what tomorrow brings. We love to work with all our kids and teach the fundamentals to enter Kindergarten and beyond. When there are any issues and concerns, we will work with you and your child. I personally love to help kids and am drawn toward special needs. We have had or have kids with various needs. One child was going on his 5th daycare in a very short period. He has been with us for several years. We have a large house and a big yard with lots of room for the kids to have fun and explore. We have lots of riding toys and teach them to ride bikes. We have lots of walking paths around our house and love to enjoy all of the 4 seasons. We do seeds in the summer and watch plants and vegetables grow during summer. We have a large kitchen, I love to bake and cook. The kids help sometimes and learn about new foods.
