Advice

So I found a daycare . I’ve been having a hard time to even trust anyone with my two year old and five year old, but I got a new job and I needed to find someone quick but safe and all the things a responsibile parent screens for when looking for a appropriate daycare. I found one it’s just 20min walking distance. The one thing that bothered me was the daycare lady has her two sons doing most of the work. In my gut I didn’t feel comfortable but I thought maybe it’s just my insecurities with men . I don’t know. They seemed really nice and I didn’t get any bad vibes from them. So tonight my daughter told me that their is another little girl teaching her and my two year old how to shake her butt. And other in appropriate things that got me upset. I texted the lady and told her about it. She asked me to identify what the little girl looks like and what she said. The child care lady said she is familiar with that particular child because of the child’s mother and aunt dances and the child is very sneaky etc. so now I’m just like don’t know what to do. The child care provider said she will nip it in the bud and I have nothing to worry about. But I may have to find another child care provider. Am I over reaching with this? Or should I give it another chance?

You have to trust someone give her another chance and if he happens again and look what it is us provide it cannot control what children do but we can nip it in the body when it does happen I have a male as well that’s assist me with my childcare I have no issue with any children, we has providers are good people and sometime things happen that is not under our control we do try to address it speaking providers that have male assistance 0 Likes

This is appalling! You most certainly not over reacting what so ever. It’s the provider’s job to ensure a safe environment for all children and using her sons to do all the work is inappropriate and if you were in NY, against regulations. I hope you find a much better daycare than this one. You’re child deserves better! 0 Likes
