Hi parents! I know this is pretty early, but I want to put out a feeler for some potential summer work. I’ve spent this past year abroad on a gap year, and I’m considering coming home to RVA for the summer. I applied to work at a few sleep-away summer camps, but I’m wondering if I’ll be able to save more money by spending the summer at home. I’ve been babysitting for six years and I’ve nannied for the past two years. I spent the last summer with the sweetest infant twins, but I’ve nannied for four year olds and ten year olds as well. I’ve babysat for just about every age from 2 months to 12 years, including children with various disabilities and several sets of twins. I am currently an au pair teaching english in Spain for a lovely family with a 10 year old and a 14 year old. Last semester, I was in Thailand doing various volunteer work with children, and I’d love to go into more detail about that if you’re interested in hiring me! I am CPR, First aid and Lifeguard certified. I am open to a nanny share and looking for something full-time for the summer. I would be available beginning of June(potentially late-may) to the end of August(or beginning of September). I am great with animals, have a valid drivers license and open to vacationing with your family if needed. I am also fully vaccinated and have my flu shot.
