Hello! My name is Carmela.I have been working with children with special needs ages 3-5 for the past 5 years in a private bronx preschool. I’ve learned that every child has a creative side and that’s usually how I get to know them! Arts and crafts while making learning fun or simply padding the time by has been my fortè! I’ve worked with children with language and cognitive delays as well as children with Down syndrome. Before working with children with special needs I volunteered on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s at my local church for CCD classes preparing children for communion.
