Profile I have experience caring for the elderly in a nursing home. Duties included bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, oral care, assisted daily living which is washing face, putting shoes on, doing hair etc. Provided intensive and minor wound care of all sorts, passed medication and have management experience as well. Also worked for an in-home service providing the same type of care, along with meal prep and light housekeeping, to veterans and provided them with an ear to listen and shoulder to lean on. Experience working with troubled fostered male youth ages 11-18 in a trauma based approach home in order to help them grow and be a person of support to them, a role model to look up to. Housekeeping, meal prep, behavior deescalation and compassionate approach were essential.
