I've loved working with children my whole life and I've worked with a very wide variety of children with a wide variety of needs. I specialize in forming meaningful and supportive relationships with the children I work with. I'm particularly committed to encouraging them to become more aware of their own needs and interests. I help them learn how to work cooperatively with others, and develop a deep curiosity about the world around them, expressed through a love of learning and a joy in many different types of creative activities.

Most recently I've been a preschool teacher and behavioral consultant for almost 20 years, with a M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education. Prior to that I worked with children in a variety of settings, including as an assistant in several different classrooms, in after school programs, as a shadow aide supporting special needs children in regular classroom settings and as a babysitter for individual families.
