Profile I've worked as a babysitter on and off since I was 13! When I went to high school, I also started volunteering at a couple of different programs for children and families of divorce, and for middle school girls. Every summer since I was 10, I have returned to a summer camp, first as a camper, then a counselor, and now senior staff. At camp, I perform duties such as mediating drama between campers, organize and lead fun activities such as hiking, biking, pottery and archery, tend to injuries and illnesses, clean the general camp area, and help with homesick campers. During my time working at camp, I have learned how to communicate and take care of children without letting my emotions project onto them. I am able to maintain high energy and have fun with kids, even on my lowest days.
