Profile I am a single mother of an 8 year old boy. I grew up helping my family watch my cousins while their parents worked, or just needed some time for themselves. Also, hold 11-12 years of health care experience working with individuals who have all types of disabilities or some who just need extra help around the house. Within the type of work I have done while working with these participants the job duties also include cooking, cleaning, shopping, transporting to and from appointments, families for holiday's, etc., documenting, advocating for the individuals likes, wants, needs, capabilities, and abilities to stay as independent as possible. Be creative with them and entertain them. Help them to complete any given task that they choose to. Lastly, always be respectful, kind, generous, outgoing, adventurous, but remind them that they are doing an awesome job and you are there to help them with anything they need, want, or desire.
