I have been working with children since I was about 14 years old. I have done basic babysitting until recently when I got a job with the Mentoring Alliance. I generally work with 1st grade through 5th grade. Currently, I work specifically with 1st graders. My job has been to teach them how to regulate their emotions and to teach them about Jesus during the after-school programs.
My goal in life is to be a mother and I believe the best way to develop skills to be a good mother is to learn how to take care of children. Children are the world's blessings and I have been given the gift to be able to influence the lives of so many children. I would make a great caregiver because I believe it is important to be a positive influence in a child's life. I also believe it is important to give the parent's of children a deserved break once in a while.
I do have my CPR/AED/First-Aid certification.
