Hello, my name is Kandis Wray and I am currently in my second year of the clinical mental health counseling program at Slippery Rock University. I am looking into supplementing my income by nannying, as this is something that I have enjoyed for as far as the past jobs that I have had. I've been nannying children for quite some time now, off and on for around 10 years officially. My longest nannying position was for three years, starting with the children when they were 1 and 3 respectively. I have nannied for children of all ages from just a few months through to teenage years. I do not have any certifications, but I am open to getting them if it is a requirement. My schedule is currently pretty flexible, as long as I am able to return to university in time to make my classes. In the past, I have offered help with homework, and throughout schooling have held many peer mentoring positions. One of those previous positions was teaching children reading and math skills. I have a vehicle that seats 3 in the back, and would comfortably fit two car seats. I can also provide meal services and do house chores if is asked, and have no problems in doing so.
