I am very confident I would a make a great caregiver to a child at any age. I have been a homemaker/caregiver for the past nine years. I hold my paraprofessional certification and have my associates in general studies. I also hold my certification as a Vet Assistant if there is anyone out there who may need some help with pet care! I am mostly comfortable with dogs/cats.
I have been a SAHM for the past 9 years. I am the full time care giver for my son (7) and my step daughter (11). I also have experience caring for any of their friends if their parents are working and need babysitting help. A typical day for me consists of preparing meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and snacks. Keeping up with household chores and doing laundry. Helping with school/summer homework. Making sure they have time for physical activity/outdoors time. Coordinating their after school schedules and extracurricular activities. Being there for social/emotional support if any troubles come up.
