Profile I have a ton of experience dealing with disabilities. My son has autism and my husband has cerebral palsy. I have also been a certified nursing assistant for 6 yrs now. But I've been a caregiver for 11. I'm a decent cook. I have my own transportation. I am good with tutoring homework assignments. I am also a very interactive person, which means I'm going to be active with your children. I won't be sitting on your couch watching Supernatural and eating your cheetohs. If little Jamie wants me to sit down with her after dinner and watch Spongebob and color pictures with her, then by Golly, we will color those pictures and watch that Spongebob! To me, its about the kids. I'm happy just making them happy. However, structure is important too! No Spongebob until your homework is done. No ice cream until you've eaten your green beans. Take your medicine and I'll bring the bath paint set you've been asking for since last Friday. Kids should be allowed to be kids, but they should also be taught to be kind and to be patient.
