Hello families! My name is Logan Bell, I'm a College Senior at WSU Vancouver, and I would definitely say that I have a decent amount of experience in childcare. At the age of nine I was already babysitting the children of the neighbor next door, and by the age of 12 I was babysitting up to three kids at once for family friends. At 15 I used to babysit for a friend of the family's church group, while they would have their meetings, I would baby sit up to 15 children. I learned very quickly that it's very important to constantly be on the lookout for any hazards and to make sure safety, along with making sure needs are met is priority. Though this is the case, the second priority is always to have fun! I am very bubbly and enthusiastic about everything I do; I love to come up with all sorts of creative games for even the most rambunctious kiddos. I remember one of the favorites that I came up with was playing America's Got Talent, the kids loved to show off their various skills, and also be judges and hit the buzzers as loud as possible lol. Since this time, I have had baby-sat on and off. Whenever I've had the time and have definitely gained a lot of skills from working with various families and kids. Lastly, I wanted to reiterate that safety is very important to me, I plan to get more safety certifications (such as one in CPR) as soon as possible.
