Profile Ihave always loved working with children! I started babysitting when I was 13 and since age 16 I have had exclusively childcare jobs (camp counselor, inclusion counselor, day care teacher aide) leading up to now where I work in a public school system as an SLP. I have specific experience working with infants to 11 year olds as well as neurodiverse children (Autism Spectrum, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or developmentally delayed). My care/teaching style is collaborative but structured and I put a lot of effort into establishing strong trust bonds with the kids I work with.
