Growing up, my mother worked as a nanny as well as a preschool teacher and I ended up being with her multiple times throughout the years and experiencing what it is like to supervise children. As a preteen, my mother worked at a preschool and I was allowed to volunteer and help out in the classrooms. This was my first main experience of being around a large group of children and learning how to engage and interact with all of them. In my teenage years I often watched a neighbor’s 8 year old son as they would run errands or go to work. In more recent years, I routinely watched a little girl once or twice a week. During our time together, I taught her how to read using multiple learning books her grandma had provided for me. At the same time, she was practicing her handwriting and spelling as well. As far as pets go, I grew up with various dogs, cats, reptiles, and even a bunny once, I love all animals and find joy in being around them. I have a large dog currently so I have a better sense of how to control them and guide them when walking. I love children and dogs of all ages and I cant wait to meet you and those you care for the most!
