Hi there!
I've been in childcare for 12+ years. During those 12 years I've had the pleasure to work with a variety of different ages in different positions.
I am currently a PreK teacher (3-5y/o) & a mother to a 5y/o who is on the autism spectrum. (I do know ASL) & I am bilingual.
I have 12+ years of experience with children & within childcare — nannying (infants-7y/o), teaching assistant (2-5 y/o), school-age coordinator (5-12 y/o), paraprofessional (being a para for sweet babes that need extra help through the days), lots of date night experience & summer camp experience also!
My love for children, teaching and care came about when I was in Japan. I was an ESL assistant teacher my last year of high school, which lead me to pursue ECE in school, after high school. I've taken over 35 ECE courses, infant courses and courses about safety both outside and inside. I've taken courses on communication and Autism 101. I've found such a passion, for helping families with nurturing their little ones and helping them grow & thrive.
